The 2019, 8th World Health Industry Conference (WHIC) is an international grand gathering held on schedule in the era of global aging and the rapid aging of China. The theme of the conference is "Open a new era of global silver-haired economy and seek a new future for World health industry. The forum such as China-Japan Silver economic, as well as related forums and round table forums such as large health industry and regional economic development, Eastern Medicine and silver economy, the way of industrial transformation under the new consumption environment, transformation of scientific and technological achievements of big health innovation and market promotion. The topics of the conference are not only related to the key direction of the development of the global human health industry, but also to the prominent issues closely related to China's current development. There are more innovations in content and form than in previous conferences.

The World Health Industry Conference (WHIC) is usually held in Beijing on the 62nd  World Health Day around April 7, 2012. Through the Beijing Declaration, the WHIC clearly put forward the arrival of the era of great human health to the world for the first time, and put forward four scientific connotations of great health: human all-factor health, life-cycle health, all-round life health, ecological and environmental health, which promoted healthy production. Industrial policy and rapid development of industrial economy.

The concept of large health has epoch-making significance. Health is no longer the main concern of the elderly, but health should be paid attention to the whole cycle and process from childhood to old age. It is no longer only for diseases, but also for the health maintenance of all elements, all directions and the whole environment. The World Health Industry Conference is now the eighth session. The theme of the annual conference and the content of the conference forum have become the vane and driver of the development of large health industry, which has its special space-time background and historical significance.

According to statistics released by the Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations, as of July 11, 2018, the global population was about 7.6 billion, of which 962 million people aged 60 (years old) and over, accounting for 12.8% of the global population. The number of the elderly aged 65 years old and over is as high as 654.57 million worldwide, accounting for 8.693% of the total. According to the data of 2017, the Institute of World Health Industry Conference conducts the following five types of research on countries or regions with global aging.

The first category of super-ageing countries (red system, median 45 years old, 65 years old accounted for 20%). In absolute sense, super-ageing countries: Japan, Italy, Germany, Monaco, Greece and Finland have also reached or approached this target. By 2020, there will be 8 countries, including France, Sweden, Britain and Spain. It is expected that 34 countries will be reached by 2030. That is the main reason why we invited Japan to attend the conference as a representative of the super-aging country to make a statement.

The second group of comparatively aging countries (orange system, median age of 40, 65 years old accounted for 15%) includes France, Sweden, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Canada, Poland, Ukraine, Australia, the United States, New Zealand and other countries reason why we invited Ukraine to attend the conference as a representative of an aging country.

The third group of fast-aging countries (yellow system, median 35 years old, 65 years old or more, more than 7 years old and over 60 years old, more than 10% of the total population) includes Russia, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, Korea, Brazil, Turkey, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Dominica and other countries. This time we invited China as a fast-growing country. Representatives of fast-ageing countries attended the conference to express their views.

The fourth group of countries about to age (green system, median under 30, over 20 years old, 65 years old less than 7% of the total population, 60 years old less than 10% of the total population) includes Suriname, Mexico, Malaysia, India, Nepal, Iran, Indonesia, Egypt, Bangladesh and other countries, we invited India to attend the conference as a representative of the aging countries. Table advocates.

The fifth category of non-ageing countries (white, median under 20 years old) includes Niger, Uganda, Congo, Zambia, Central Africa, Sierra Leona and other countries. Reason why we invited Sierra Leona to present its views as a representative of non-ageing countries.

The Institute of World Health Industry Conference has made a comprehensive analysis of the current situation of global aging. Whether the aged over 60 or over 65 account for 10% and 7% of the total population, it has made a historic judgment. Human beings have entered an aging society. The arrival of the global aging society means the rapid development of the silver-haired economy and the aging industry, will promote the healthy economy and the health care industry to enter the golden period of development.

2019 is the twentieth anniversary of China's entry into an aging society in accordance with the United Nations population aging standards. According to the criteria set by the United Nations in 1956 for the classification of population ageing and its socio-economic consequences, when the proportion of the elderly population aged 65 and over in a country or region, exceeds 7% of the total population, it means that the country or region has entered the ageing stage. In 1982, the World Assembly on Ageing in Vienna determined that the proportion of the elderly population aged 60 years old and over accounted for more than 10% of the total population, which means that the population of this country or region has entered the ageing stage. Compared with the western countries, China's aging has its particularity, which is reflected in the rapid process of population aging. At the same time, the developed countries in the West enter the aging society after the developed economy, while China enters the aging society when the economy is underdeveloped, which has the characteristics of "getting old before getting rich, getting old before getting ready". "Large population and aging structure" will be the population basis for sustainable development in the future China.

By the end of 2018, according to the data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, for the first time, the population over 60 years old in China has exceeded the population aged 0-15 years. This indicates that China's aging has further intensified and has entered the ranks of rapidly aging countries. At present, there are 241 million people over 60 years old in China, accounting for 17.3% of the total population, which is about 25% of the world's elderly over 60 years old. That is to say, there is one Chinese in every four elderly people in the world. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), by 2050, 35% of China's population will be over 60 years old, becoming the world's most aging country, with more than one third of the elderly population.

The arrival of an aging society characterized by an ageing population means that China has left the young society and entered a new era of longevity. Longevity era means a new economic era, which marks a comprehensive, profound and lasting new economic revolution. It will bring new economic goals, new economic structure and new economic development mode. It contains tremendous new economic potential, which is the new longevity dividend expected by human beings. "Open a new era of human silver-haired economy and seek for a healthy world and a new future" is for this purpose. Leading by the global silver-haired economy, the international trend on the development of the big health industry will certainly lead to structural changes in the big health industry and open a new wave of global wealth.

The Institute of World Health Industry Conference is established at the Seventh World Health Industry Conference, classifies the current situation of global aging and draws a conclusion from the digital analysis of 2017 of all countries in the world. With a strong sense of historical responsibility, it solemnly announces at the Seventh World Health Industry Conference that human being has officially entered a "global aging society" and that a brand-new "new era of global silver-haired economy" has arrived !

"The global population aging that we are facing today will mean a comprehensive, profound and lasting new economic revolution in the great health industry of mankind caused by the demographic dividend and consumption needs. It will bring new economic goals, new economic structure and new economic development modes, and contain tremendous potential for new economic development. From pension to health care, from medical rescue to rehabilitation of chronic diseases, from disease management of the elderly to health management of the whole age group, the health care industry with Chinese characteristics will contribute Chinese wisdom to human health and pension programs. Leading by the global silver-haired economy, the international trend of the development of the big healthy industry will inevitably lead to structural changes of the large healthy industry, promote the supply-side structural reform to meet people's growing demand for health and the upgrade of old-age consumption, and open a new wave of global wealth.
